The Pet Kare Clinic in Steamboat Springs CO is proud to be certified by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). The American Animal Hospital Association is an organization that provides accreditation for veterinary hospitals in the United States and Canada. What does this certification mean? To become accredited, hospitals must practice in accordance with AAHA's standards of excellence. An AAHA consultant will periodically visit our hospital to ensure that we meet or exceed these standards. The Pet Kare Clinic was evaluated against a pool of more than 900 standards that represent best practices in veterinary care and hospital management. AAHA accreditation is a voluntary program of which only approximately 17% of all veterinary hospitals are accredited in the United States and Canada. We have chosen to be accredited because of our commitment to excellence in small animal care.
