Q: HOW OFTEN DOES MY FURNACE & CENTRAL AIR UNIT NEED MAINTENANCE?

A: Most manufacturers recommend having a furnace and central air tune-up and safety inspection every 2 years. However, if you are suspecting a problem with your system call for maintenance right away.

Q: HOW CAN I SAVE ON MY UTILITY BILLS?

A: Installing a programmable thermostat will allow you to control your heat throughout the day. At night and/or during the day we recommend reducing the temperature to save on your bill. Talk to your technician to determine a schedule that will work for you and your home.

Q: HOW CAN I BE REASSURED MY FURNACE IS SAFE?

A: Following a regular schedule with your furnace tune-up is a good start. However, it is necessary to have a high-quality carbon monoxide detector in your home. The detectors sold in most "do-it-yourself" retail stores have no way to check the sensor that determines the amount of carbon monoxide in your home. Talk to us about a high-quality carbon monoxide detector that includes a self-monitoring system that checks the sensor and will tell you when it's not working.
