Oakwood Animal Hospital's Mission is to actively promote and nurture the human-animal bond by providing comprehensive high quality veterinary care with an emphasis on exceptional client service and compassionate patient care, while providing employees with desirable, fulfilling and rewarding careers.

The hospital provides medical and surgical care for cats and dogs. Our practice currently has four doctors. Dr. Eberhard is a fellow in the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry and provides basic and advanced procedures in dentistry and oral surgery. Dr. Barkow has a special interest in orthopedic surgery, particularly in cruciate ligament repair. Dr. Michele Miekstyn has been with our practice since August 2009 and Dr. Carla Playford joined our team April 2010. We have been affiliated with MVMA and AVMA for 23 years. Our goal is to provide the best in medical and surgical care for your pet. Our support staff includes two licensed veterinary technicians, three veterinary assistants, four receptionists and a dental assistant.
